| hey everyone, as you all know we now have a clan citadel running. To keep it running, we ask that we all work together to build the citadel up and make it the best citadel ever made!
In order to do that, here are the requirements that must be upheld:
* Every week, we ask that members contribute to the resources. The best and effective way to complete this would be to cut 600 roots and mine 400 rocks.
* Every week, we need to keep an upkeep of a certain amount, as of right now, it is around 6050 wood.
As our clan citadel grows, it will require more and more attention. The citadel will only grow as we increase our clan numbers, so it is best to place our clan vexillium as many places as you can. If you are training a skill, any skill, place your vex in an area that everyone will see it.
Due to certain occurrences, our clan citadel fiscal week starts every Tuesday at 7:40pm bst/forum time. Any changes made to the citadel MUST be made 6 hours prior to this time. The only person able to update the citadel during the final six hours is Brother Farm.
We have a weekly goal, and we are wanting to hit that goal every week for our citadel to grow. Our current goal is tier 3 keep, and the goals are already listed in your bottom right corner when you enter the citadel, but if you want physical numbers then here they are.
Goal: 23550 Wood and 15800 Stone. This is our ideal goal, but is not necessary but highly encouraged. If everyone in the clan donates just one hour a day each day, we should have this goal.
If we are to reach our goal of a tier 3 keep, then we would gain our very own party room for the clan. And that of which would benefit everyone in the clan.
If you have any questions, please feel free to post there here with your thoughts, opinions or questions and we will answer them the best we can. Thank you very much for your time. =D

| I'll contribute what i can, however i dont think we should ask people to get the full amount, just to contribute a few hundrud rescurces or so, any more is great. The clicking constantly at the citidel rescource spots is a big factor in myself not getting the full amount, as i simply hate grinding and class it as grinding. If they made it like trees for instance i imagine we would see more rescources flowwing in. |

| I have to agree with Stuff the way Jagex did it makes it very 'hard' to grind like a normal skill. They should have made it like a normal tree and perhaps make the mining like concerted ore. To make up for it they could have made it fill your invy and added a resource box which "it's banked at" to make it more like real skilling.
Either way, I've done 2,000 wood and 350 stone myself. Maxing 2 out of 3 is not bad. |

| FYI I asked nat to post this so we had a referance as to what needed to be done each week so he is not pointing fingers at anyone just stating what needs to be done as a clan...I wanted a place we could look up to see what needed to be done that week or if anyone had questions a reference point...
I as with everyone truly appreciates all everyone has done to help out the clan citadal..as this is a team effort not an individual goal thing...
as nat stated if we work together we shall all profit from it in the end...With that said...it is out of honesty that we do this and are proud as a family..many hands make light work..as for the story goes...in the hen and the workers..the hen asked for help but everyone was to "busy" to help out doing the work in the fields..when it came harvest time no one helped..when it finally came time to eat...no one else got any as they did not participate...as should be with our family ..if we are going to build this together we shall all get to reep the benefits in the end...those who do not will have to sit out...sry
anyway love u all and please let us be a family and work as a team=] |

| It's all very new and will take time to settle down into a routine. It can be made fun by having a group of clannies working together and just having a chat (serious or otherwise) having a laugh or... or ... we could play "I Spy"! No, no, I didn't say that - I think that one time I started that off will stick in everyone's mind *giggle* You said an hour a day Nat but I think you meant an hour a week as very few people are on every day and it doesn't take 7 hours to cut/mine 1000 resources :p On a serious note though, I would say that a lot of people just don't have the time or the inclination (let's be honest, not everyone is interested in the citadels) to help as much as is needed. I think it would be lovely to have a great citadel to invite our friends to for battles, games, parties etc and I'm sure if the members understand what's needed, they won't mind making a contribution occasionally. It just needs to be explained as you have done above what we are aiming for that week and how many resources are needed. Maybe it could be broken down more though so that we know the minimum required just to maintain our citadel and the cost of the upgrades we would like to make and indeed what they are. If we don't make the ideal that week, then we just try again the next. This is AIR after all, a nice, relaxed, social, mature clan with no pressures and that's why our current members joined. On looking at the figures for this week (39,350) it seems to me that we need at least 40 members to visit with each doing approximately their max of 1000 resources if we want to do everything we would like to which is a pretty hard achievement but I could be wrong of course. I am glad you added that that would be the ideal and not the essential as it could be very offputting to members to think they are expected/needed to grind when on. This is a game after all, and people come on for some relaxation after their daily grind at work. Just for the record though, I am with you all the way |

| Hmm just briefly read over the thread and noticed im the only person able to make changes in the final six hours. I honestly know virtually nothing about the clan citadel, and due to my inactivity in RS is there a way to give other players the necessary privileges to make changes?
TBH I'd like to have as little involvement in running things as posible as i'm extremely busy in real life these days. When i come on it's for usually brief periods of time to relax or talk to clan members and see how things are doing. |

| Well, the changes that are made most likely wont need detourance within those last 6 hours. So we should be fine as far as that goes |

| At this time, I'd like to add to what Nat said about the citadel at the beginning of these thread.
Yes, it is my hope that this clan well band together for the Tier 3 Keep. Yes, the T3 Keep well give us access to the firemaking and smithing plots, as well as the party room. No, I only want the party room as a gift for pagan, as it was something he mentioned he wanted to see when he asked me to manage the citadel. Yes, we well slow down building on the keep and other major upgrade till the clan feels we can and want to go higher.
Hopefully, this helps everyone understand why I've been pushing on this subject. (Aside from the fact of my new rank... check in-game if you don't believe me.)
On another note, for those of you who don't know this or where not clear on this subject... the Citadel wasn't intended to be a new skilling zone. Jaqex expressed this in their guide on the rs homepage manual section.* However, for those of you who want the real exp, I would suggest using the clan ring, received from the quartermaster just inside the keep. and be sure to remember, you do NOT need to max out on a plot in order to charge your ring there.
And to make this clear.. I know we can make this citadel work. We have enough able bodied p2p members to pull this out of our hats.
* and no i'm not going to sharing i'm discomfort and stress on this matter at this time. |

| Ive found whilst mining on Aggrovation which was 55mining at the time, its 56.5exp/57 exp each ore, and about as fast a respawn/mine as iron. So its a decent training spot at that level for mining, i'll be getting 64 there so should be a fair bit of rescources.
Ivan, T7 apart from the plots you mentioned, are there any others? I've heard of a summoning one. Just wondering on the bonuses of higher citidels. I belive T3 would be relativly easy for AIR to reach if people worked for it, that said i can imagine alot more people using citidels if a bank is added for the battlefield and you can Cut roots/mine like wilows/concentrated ores At the moment its heavily grindfesting which does put me off getting much rescources. |

| First off, I'd like to apologize for kicking most everyone out of the citadel a little bit earlier. I needed these things to be heard before everyone did there own thing.
At this time, the kiln and smithy are Off Limits. (aka not to be used) they take up resource space on your maximum. and if too many people use them over the resource plots needed, we well be forced back to Tier 2.
on a lighter note. feel free to charge your clan ring at the new plots. just don't use the plots themselves.
the kiln and smithy well be allowed, next tick. (the 19th of October) When we get the mine upgraded to allow ore to be mined from it. |
